I’m just so pleased with this portrait and it’s already framed and waiting to be put on the wall. This is so precious to me as I now have a picture of both of my boys together without all of the medical paraphernlia in the picture.

well…it was a good game yesterday. LSU just played better in OT than Texas did and they deserved to win. Too bad that Texas no longer has a chance to have the National Championship in football and basketball in the same year but to be quite honest, I dont think Texas would have won the title in basketball. So now, we will just route for LSU and anxiously wait for football season! Come on August- get here fast!

Wow- what a game on Thursday! Texas beat West Virginia on a buzzer beater! And what was so funny is that WV just throws up tons of three point shots. They tied the game with a 3 and then Texas marches down the court and shoots a 3 pointer with less than a second and it was GOOD! Man that was awesome! HOOK ‘EM HORNS!

Now, its going to be a doozie in our house on Saturday. LSU vs. Texas! And of course, Drew WILL be wearing burnt orange! Go horns!

LSU beat Duke tonight- 62-54! Don’t we all feel so sorry for Duke? NOT!

I just bought these 4 fonts in my never ending quest to find the *perfect* journaling font! I saw this website posted on somebody else’s blog so I went to check it out and of course found 4 that I just fell in love with! I know that they are all pretty much the same but each is just different enough that I needed them! I’m sure these will be featured in many future LO’s to come!

YAY! He is gone! I think American Idol really went to his head and made it even bigger. I think he truly believes that he is a sex symbol and he is cool now. I don’t know what it is about him but he just annoys me! I’m so glad we don’t have to see him anymore. Buh-bye!!!

I didn’t post my commentary on AI last night so here goes:

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Mandisa! She was just awesome! I really liked Chris’ performance too! I think it will be those two in the finals. I love Paris too- she is just so adorable and I think that she will get a record deal after AI! Lisa was alot better this week with her song choice but she just doesn’t excite me like Mandisa, Chris and Paris do! Bucky just HAS to go! I can’t stand his singing and his style. Kevin was ok tonight but something about him just bugs me! That’s all that I really want to comment on. We will see how the results go tonight!

This was the end of the park trip and we were getting ready to go home.

We were playing on the play scape and Drew started going through the tunnel so I ran to the other end to get this picture!

Drew and I went to the park today since it was a GORGEOUS day today and he loved the swing!

This picture cracks me up! Drew has also become very interested in the camera. He likes to crawl and try to grab the camera when Im trying to take his picture and this was the result of him trying to just that.

Snapped this picture of him this morning after he came out of the closet and was tired of playing with my shoes. His exersaucer is in our room which is at the foot of our bed. He is just so happy when he wakes up in the morning!

Now that Drew is crawling all over the house his favorite place to go is in our bedroom closet. I got a picture of him this morning while playing with my shoes.

Mom was feeding her baby bird while they were here last weekend and Drew was very curious about it!

I didnt get to post my thoughts on American Idol on Wednesday- let’s just say that I had a very bad night. So much so that Peter took off work today to keep Drew for me and I went to get an hour massage and pedicure for my mental health.

Anyway- I was shocked at the bottom 3. I thought Kevin should have been in there rather than Lisa. I think Lisa has a really good voice but something about her just does not excite me. I think she is picking the wrong songs. But I do believe that Melissa deserved to go.

We just got through watching Mr. and Mrs. Smith- that movie was hilarious! I loved Brad Pitt in this movie as much as I loved him in Oceans 11! And even though I dont like Angelina Jolie- the marriage wrecker that she is- I did like her in this movie. We still have After the Sunset out from Netflix so we need to watch that and return it. Im not sure whats on our Netflix list next but I sure do love online movie rentals!!!!!

I did! 3 times for Katherine, 3 times for Paris, and when I could finally get through- 2 times for Taylor.

Was it just more or was it really strange watching Kevin singing his song- it just felt odd. If I could remember the name of the song I could tell you why but my ambien is getting in the way.

So my top favorites were: Katherine, Paris, Taylor (even though I havent like him in the past), and of course Chris. Close runners up were Mandisa and Lisa. Poor Kely- her song was so boring and then Melissa forgot her lyrics. How embarassing!

Well, I had a pretty crappy weekend- my allergies got the better of me. But I’s actually feeling better since I was finally able to get rid of my headache. Mom and dad came into town on Friday and stayed with us (man that sounds wierd!) and we went to dinner with Blake and Elicia. Then we came home and watched Walk the Line- it was a really good movie! Reese Witherspoon is so cute!

Tonight, West Wing was a new episode as well as Grey’s Anatomy. West Wing was really good but it was sad to see Leo on there. I wonder how they are going to write his death into the story line. Grey’s Anatomy was as usual- HILARIOUS! I totally didn’t see coming the kid who cut off his finger. I think that Meredith is going to be the new “Ally McBeal”- always unlucky in love. I really want her to get with Derek but it looks like that is not going to happen.

So, what else is going on? Not too much- Drew is growing like a weed and just cracks me up. When he is playing with toys he is so serious sometimes and I start laughing at him and then he just looks up at me and smiles his cheesy-2-tooth grin and makes me laugh even more! Today when I was changing his diaper I had his bottle on the changing table above his head and he reached back and got the bottle and put it in his mouth! He is sooooo close to holding his own bottle when he eats but he just won’t quite do it yet. Its easier for mommy or daddy to hold it for him!

Ok- thats all for tonight. I need to get some scrapbook pages done but Im having a mental block right now. Hopefully some inspiration will come to me! Good night!

I was a little surprised by the results show from American Idol last night. I knew that Kinnik and Will (Peter Brady look a like) would be going. I really thought Melissa would go over Ayla though. I felt so sorry for Ayla- she was trying so hard to hold back the tears but you could see how disappointed she was. And Im REALLY surprised that Gedeon was voted off rather than say Kevin or even Buky.

My favorite girl is of course Mandisa! And then I guess my favorite guy is Chris! Since I know ALL about music and singing then those ARE the people who will make it to the finals! And Im not willing to bet on it!
