There are a few things that Drew has on his radar and as soon as I open them up he is darting over there to get into it! The dishwasher happens to be one of those things! I got these pictures the other day when I was *trying* to unload the dishwasher but Drew had other plans for it! If you click on the picture a bigger one will come up and you can see the 1 single tooth he has on top! He really needs that 2nd front tooth so he wont look so snaggle toothed!

Drew loves to climb up on Peter’s desk. Peter claims that he doesn’t help him at all and that may be true but daddy is an enabler!

Had to share this one! We actually got out of the house yesterday! Drew and I went to the mall and I let him play in the play area plus I did a little shopping for me! I got 2 new pairs of shorts and 2 shirts! And Drew got a new book too!

These are the actual footprints for each of the babies! I’m also designing a shirt for Drew to wear. His is going to say on the front “I spent 109 days in the NICU!” and on the back Im going to have a picture of him from when he was born and some other information!

Drew is better but he still has a few sores on his legs that are still blistered looking so we are going to keep him in a little longer. We did go to Target and HEB on Friday but I put his shopping cart cover on it so I think all was ok. I picked up the first season of Grey’s Anatomy! YAY! Too bad tomorrows episode is not new but its a montage of everything that has happened to this point!

Our trip to Cleveland is all set! We are going June 13-21st (I think) and our plane tickets came in the mail the other day. Drew has his first airplane tickets! Now, hopefully flying with him wont be too big of an adventure!

A few pictures from the hailstorm we got hit with tonight. And you know what stinks the most. We just had our roof replaced on Monday! Yes you heard that right- the day after the roof is replaced because of past hail damage it hails AGAIN! On the upside, we really needed the rain and it supposed to rain off an on through thursday. Now we need to see how much damage there is to the new roof and Peter’s car.

that’s the good news. Drew has been sick for a few weeks now and last Friday he got really bad and we called the pedi and they put him on an anti-biotic. He sounded horrible on Saturday and a little better on Sunday but still was not feeling well to do Easter pictures. Sunday night I noticed a few red bumps around the inside of his leg inside his diaper and 1 on his thigh and just thought it was diaper rash or something. Well on Monday some red bumps appeared on his foot and hands and a couple on his mouth. I called the pedi and they thought it might be a reaction to the anti-biotics so we gave him benadryl and that didn’t help. So I took him in this morning and it was confirmed that he has Hand-Foot-Mouth Disease. The sores look similar to chickenpox and it’s not as contagious but still we have to keep him in. And the sores dont itch like chickenpox. The doc says this is going around and its something that kids get but it would figure that the first time I take him to his Gymboree class and then to ladies bible class and leave him in the nursery he comes down with this. And he is still dealing with the sinus issue but its definitely better. His little hands and feet and look pretty bad and he has some sores on the outside of his mouth and on the inside too. Poor guy!

Isn’t this the sweetest picture? He falls asleep like this all the time. He doesn’t suck his thumb or a pacifier, he likes to suck on his burp cloth.

I put Drew on the vacuum and pushed him around the house and he just got the biggest kick out of it!

I am *SO* glad that Bucky is gone! I really didnt like him at all and thought his song on Tuesday was horrible. With that being said, I hated Queen night just like I hated country night. I thought Kelly’s song was really bad and she should have been in the bottom 3 not Elliott. Next on my list to get kicked off is Ace then Kelly.

New LO I did of Drew helping Peter put together his new grill. He climbed through the side of his and sat underneath and started playing with Peter’s tools! Peter was so PROUD! 

LO I did of Drew trying his first hotdog. I know, these papers are really bright but I loved them and thought it went well with the outdoor pictures!

We went to an Easter Egg Hunt today and Drew had a good time. Although he was exhausted by the end because he didnt take a good nap before we left. He got a “tattoo” on his arm, played with bubbles, went on a hayride, hunted eggs, tried a hotdog and ate some yummy candy! He didn’t care for the hot dog- he actually crawled on it and sat on it! He didn’t get the whole hunting eggs thing so I helped him out! But he really liked what was inside!

Drew discovered the scanner and so daddy turned it on and got this! Isn’t that cute???

Drew is 14 months old today! He is just growing up way too fast! I’m working on his 13 month LO right now! Be looking for that to be posted in the next few days!

Drew is so going to hate me for this but I just *HAD* to scrap it! Yes he has discovered his nose. I’m not excited about it and get on to him when he does it which he then thinks is funny but this was the first time he had done it and I just had to get a picture! Tee hee!

I’d like to take a moment and say this….. “AMERICA, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING??????” I cannot believe that Mandisa was voted off last night. She is certainly better than most of the people there and I definitely thought that Ace, Bucky, Kelly, and Taylor would go before her. Im really sorry that she is out of the competition. My 2 favorites now are Chris and Katherine. Make sure and vote people to keep the good ones there!

Drew has finally grown out of the cute one piece footed jammies and has now graduated to the 2 piece big boy jammies!

We got Drew’s hair cut for the first time on Monday and he was so good! The place we took him to is called Snipits and its a kids place! You walk in and its decorated kinda Suess-Landing like if you all have been to Universal Studio. After you sign-in they give you a foam “credit card” attached to a springy bracelet and after your haircut you get a prize. Drew sat in the chair like a big boy and didn’t have any issues except when she took the guard off the razor and cut the back of his neck. She gave him some animal crackers and he was a happy camper. After his cut, we went over to the “ATM” machine and he put in the foam credit card (with some help from mommy) and a sticker popped out! It was so cute! Then they gave me a little baggie with his hair in it and a certificate for him. Its in the bottom of my LO but its hard to see so click on the picture for a bigger view! He looks like such a big boy now with his haircut- my baby boy is growing up!

yes… Peter is in the living room watching the DVD that he got of the Muppet Show. It all started with the Dr. Pepper commercial where people are singing the song from the Muppet Show- (Manamana, doodoo-dadoodoo, do-doodoo-do, doodoo-dadoodoo, doo-doodoo-doo-doodoo-do-doodoodo, Manamana- you get point). Well, Peter would sign that song to Drew when he was little and he would just CRACK up. Then Peter found the video on the internet and Drew loved to watch it. So Peter was at Fry’s the other day and came home with the first season of the Muppet Show. So, Im in here scrapping some pictures of Drew (what else?) and here Peter squeal with delight and walking in and the Manamana video is playing. Have to admit- its really cute! And not only do we have the Muppet Show but we also found some Fraggle Rock DVD’s at Walmart yesterday. What happened to good ole fashioned kids shows these days????
