Drew got a fishy balloon while we were at the store today and he just loved it! He hit it on things so many times that it was deflating!

Since we were down in Flatonia on Saturday we went by the cemetary to visit Colin. It’s still so hard for me to believe that all of this has happened to us. I can’t believe that the tiny headstone that we had done was for my baby. It’s not supposed to be this way. He has really been on my mind lately because we are about to start fertility treatments again and I’m scared of having the same thing happen again. But whatever God’s plans for us is we will deal with and make the best of it. I have to say that I feel like I’m dealing with everything ok but I still think about him all the time and miss him terribly. And every now and then I will go look at his scrapbook which of course makes me cry which is what I did tonight. I guess I just need to have a good cry about it every now and then because if I don’t then one day it will all come crashing down on me.

Here are some pictures from this weekend when we went to Flatonia to visit Granny and Bob.

Drew playing with an empty oatmeal canister. He loved putting his spoons, empty wooden spools, and other small items into that canister. Granny said that all of her grandchildren have played with an empty oatmeal canister so she saved one for Drew to play with. You can also see the Smurf Top that has been at Granny’s forever- we used to play with that when we were little and Drew just LOVED it! He carried it around everywhere!

We went to my parents house for the weekend and had a really good time! Of course, Drew is walking EVERYWHERE and barely crawls anymore. And he was just Mr. Chatty this weekend- of course you can’t understand anything but da-da and na-na but I asked him if he wanted yogurt and he said go-gu so we think thats yogurt and my mom swears that he said dog or something resembling that.

Peter and I went to see The Breakup and we both really enjoyed it! Mom and dad kept Drew for us so we could go on a date! Its been too long since we have seen a movie- how sad it that?

I’m going to be an Aunt….or an Uncle! (Tee hee- that was a Joey-ism from Friends!) Blake and Elicia are expecting a baby! She is 9 weeks and is due Feb 5th! YAY! I’m so excited for them! Blake really wants a boy and Elicia and I both say the baby is going to be a girl- only time will tell!
