Im trying to get the perfect picture for Ryan’s birth announcement. Of course, I COULD go have his pictures taken but this is more fun! And cheaper!

Ahem…. no Drew does NOT have a pink cowboy hat. This was his friend Ashley’s and he was playing with it while we were at her house yesterday. This is definitely blackmail material!

Ryan has oral thrush really bad. It just cropped up overnight and this morning I noticed his entire tongue was white. I took him into the pediatrician today who verified that he has thrush and gave me a prescription for him to take. Ryan also weighed 10lbs 12oz today- this kid is gaining weight like crazy! He has also had some pooping issues over the last several days and so we switched to a hypoallergenic formula- Similac Alimentum and yesterday and today he pooped without any major crying fits like he had been doing. He would SCREAM every time he pooped- poor guy. Bad news is- the Alimentum is significantly more expensive than regular formula. Yikes.

Ok- so today was my second attempt to take some good pictures of Ryan for his birth announcement. Here are some of my favorites:

Ok- maybe its just me but in this picture I think he looks alot like Blake when he was a baby except not at fat.

I took Drew to the free water park in town today- it was just basically a big place that had lots of sprinklers and stuff that would shot water and they could play in it. Here are some pictures:

He came over to tell me he was cold and that he wanted to go night-night. Poor kid was shivering and had goosebumps all over him he was so cold!

So in contrast to Taylor hating her baths, Ryan really enjoys his baths. Here are a few pics:

I took Ryan to the doctor yesterday and we have him on medication now for reflux. Poor guy screams sometimes while he is eating and he just acts so uncomfortable at times. So hopefully with this medication he will start feeling better. But the biggest news is that he now weighs 10lbs 2oz! He gained 12oz in 10 days since we had him at the doctors last.

Here are a few pictures of my angel- he actually fell asleep for a few minutes this evening. He had a pretty rough afternoon- Im thinking he might have reflux and he just was not happy.

We had a good time at the walk on Saturday. Our team raised $2010 for the March of Dimes and I do believe that we have some additional money coming in too! Here are some pictures from the walk:

Well, we are adjusting to Ryan being home. He is a pretty good baby so far. Its Drew that we are having some problems with. He does not want to sleep in his bed at night or for naps. I hope its just a phase that he is going through and once we get Ryan in his own room, Drew will sleep in his own room to. But for now, Im not really sure how to handle the situation.

Mom and dad were here this weekend and had a good visit with the kids. I had a good time at my baby shower that Elicia, Susan, and Nikki threw for me at church. Then we went to Flatonia for Memorial Day at the cemetary and Ryan got to meet more of his family! Granny sure loved holding him and Im a bad mommy for forgetting the camera. But good thing Elicia brought hers and got pictures of Granny with the kids!

Ryan had his first pediatrician appt on Friday and he weighed in at 9lbs 6oz! Dr. Unite wants us to come back in a week or two for a weight check to see how much this guy is growing!

Im thinking Ryan looks like me. What do you think?

We got home with him today about 3:00! He left the hospital weighing 9lbs3oz! His MRI was normal and the spinal tap was clear! YAY! Here are some pictures from today!
