Ryan LOVES being in this ring sling. He likes tummy to tummy better. I put him in it and a few minutes later he was crashed.

HEre are some pictures I took this morning after he woke up. I had to WAKE him up at 10 to take his meds. He slept from 12 am – 10 am!!! Woo hoo!

We went to the fire station (or fire nation as Drew called it) with our moms club on Tuesday and I thought he would have a blast but he was terrified. Especially when they started up one of the trucks and moved it out of the station into the driveway to put the big ladder up. But I did manage to get a few pics out of the trip

Drew has tried a few times to pick brother up when he was crying or tries to carry his carseat when we are leaving the house. We got some pictures last night of Drew carrying brother (with Peters help of course) and then of Drew holding him sitting in the chair.

 He is going to hate me for this picture later!

I took Ryan to his pedi today to discuss his reflux and when they weighed him he was 12 lbs 13 oz. He is 10 weeks old now and doing great except for his reflux. He is now on Prevacid in the morning and Axid at night. Night time seemed to be the worst for us and the doc felt like the Prevacid was wearing off too soon so hopefully by giving him the other med at night that will help with his screaming episodes.

I got some new onesies from Carters the other day and their new fall colors are browns and blues. I LOVE them and think Ryan looks too cute in brown.

So Drew got attacked by a hot iron today. I was ironing my shirt and had just sat the iron down when Drew decided that he wanted to swing on the ironing board. The board tipped forward and knocked the iron off, hitting my arm first, and then landing straight up on the floor and then falling over onto his foot. It actually hit is arm but I didnt realize it until after we got to the doctors office. They gave us some cream to keep on his foot for a week. Here are the pictures:

Here are some new pictures of Ryan today. He has started socially smiling at us and even coo’s every now and then!

And this is what Drew took away from Jamie’s wedding on Saturday night. He got 5 or 6 mosquito bites on his face and a few on his arms. Benadryl stick is a miracle worker- these places were huge welps on Saturday night and were very red yesterday at church. Doesnt that cheezy grin just melt your heart?

The boys and I went to mom and dad’s house while Peter was busy with the train convention. The ride up was ok- we made it to Stephenville before Ryan woke up and wanted to eat. Friday night I left the boys with mom and dad and went to a digital crop party in Arlington and had a good time just to myself!

Dad bought Drew a tricycle which Drew kept callingh is motorcycle. It was pretty cute! Pics coming later.

Drew was also fascinated with all of the baby frogs that were in the front of their house. He liked to watch them jump and would go and touch them and then turn around and jump like the frog. There was a big toad around the side of the house and Drew tried to touch him and he jumped off and he got a big kick out of it!

Peter and Drew went on a train ride as part of the model train convention that was going on the 2nd weekend of June. Drew had a really good time but he did get bored during the middle of the train ride. Ive got some pictures to post but will do that a little later.

Drew knows when he is being silly because he will tell us ” I silly” – its pretty stinking cute. Here are some pictures of him being silly and sitting in Ryan’s swing which he knows he is not supposed to do.

In this picture he got Peter’s phone, sat in the swing, and said “I talk Ra-Ra” and then said ” Hi Ra-Ra” (Ra-Ra is my dad)

We went to my friend Carrie’s wedding tonight and they had a chocolate fountain which Drew thought was “choco milk”. Anyways, he got some strawberries and a marshmallow and put it in the chocolate fountain and these are the pictures from that little experience.

So the other day I had loaded the boys into the car and was driving to our playgroup and heard Drew talking in the back like he always does. I heard him say something and I wasnt quite sure that I heard it right so I asked him to say it again. And I was correct-he said “seatbelts, so we can be safe”. I was laughing so hard because he has never said this before- he got it from Dora the Explorer.

Then later that evening Drew and Peter took a drive around the block in the car and Peter was going to let him sit on the center console so he could look out the window. Drew didnt want to sit in the middle- he sat in the passenger seat and put the seatbelt on. Too funny!

I took Ryan for his 2 month check up today. He weighs 11 lbs 6oz and is 22.5 inches long. He is in the 50% for weight and 25-50% for height. He is still having issues with reflux so we got a prescription for Prevacid and hopefully that will help him. And he had to get 4 shots today. Poor baby. He screamed and turned beet red and then when I picked him up he stopped crying and then fell asleep on my shoulder.
