I clean it upPosted on July 31st, 2007 @ 4:32 pm
I was in the front room on the computer doing some work and Drew ran into the room and got a shirt and started wiping off his legs. I notice he had something blue on there and asked what it was and he said “I clean it up”. So I went into the kitchen to see if I could see what he got into and this is what I found:

What is not in this picture is Ryan’s formula divider with one of the compartments half full of blue dish detergent.
So I made him sit in time out and the first 5 minutes didnt phase him. He didnt cry, he just talked and sat with his nose in the corner. I didnt tell him or make him put his nose in the corner- he just did.

When I let him get up, I asked him if he knew why he was in time out and told him it was because he made a mess. I told him he needed to say Im sorry for making a mess and he wouldnt say it. So back in time out he went. He had to go back 4 times after that before I finally got an “I sorry”. Then I made him help me clean it up:

Its a good thing we are getting our carpets replaced in the next few weeks. I dont know how we are goign to get all of that up.

Do they look alike?Posted on July 27th, 2007 @ 10:39 pm
I have a lot of people tell me that Ryan and Drew look exactly alike and Ive never though so. These pictures are proof in my eyes that they dont look alike. They resemble each other but they are supposed to- they are brothers!
This is Drew at 7 months old but about 13-14 lbs.
This is Ryan from today and he is 3.5 months old and 14 lbs

Doctors apptPosted on July 19th, 2007 @ 7:27 pm
I took the boys into the pedi today because Drew had hives all over his trunk and then Ryan had a red bump on his stomach that turned into a blister. Of course it freaked me out and I was thinking they got MRSA. I did give Drew benadryl and that made it go down considerably. The pedi said Drew has eczema and gave us a steriod cream to help clear it up. Its not MRSA.
She wasnt clear on what Ryan’s was but said it didnt look like MRSA either but said for me to put the antibiotic cream on him that they gave me and just watch it. If it gets any worse then I am supposed to call.
On a good note- Ryan is 14 lbs 2 oz and Drew is 25 lbs 4 oz.

14 weeksPosted on July 15th, 2007 @ 12:45 pm
Its hard to believe that Ryan is 14 weeks old already- where does the time go? He is smiling so much and cooing at us and desperately tries to suck on his fist and thumb. I try giving him the paci but he just doesnt want it- he wants his fist. Sometimes I hear loud smacking and its him sucking on his fist. Peter says a couple of weeks ago he rolled over twice but I havent seen it yet- so it doesnt count.
Here are a few pictures from yesterday:

He was very smiliey yesterday but I could never catch the big smiles. But this is still cute!

He was so tired last night and barely drank his bottle before he passed out. I put him on the couch to sleep for a bit since I knew he wasnt down for hte night and he woke up like 10 minutes later screaming. I picked him up and promptly got showered with puke. So he didnt go to bed in this outfit.

4th oh JulyPosted on July 5th, 2007 @ 3:40 pm
We went to Auntie Jane’s house for 4th of July and Drew and Pop-pop did bubbles in the backyard. And here are some pictures of the boys together. We also watched fireworks and Drew kept saying “boom, boom, boom” and when the fireworks were over he said “I watch again” and then said “bye-bye fireworks”. Too cute!

Train ridePosted on July 5th, 2007 @ 3:35 pm
We took the rapid downtown and went and had lunch at Terminal Tower and Drew watched the dancing fountains. Drew loved the train so much that we went on another ride on Wednesday! Everytime the train stopped and the brakes engaged he would say “pshhh” immitating the sound that it made. It was hilarious!

Ryan wasnt impressed with his first train ride.
