The day started off with Drew going to his Fall “Festibal” at school today. He had a good time and came home with a bag of treats! Then Blake, Elicia, Taylor, Dianne, and Isabel came over and went trick-or-treating with us. The 3 smaller kids stayed in the wagon the whole time except Taylor and Ryan did get out at a few houses to get some candy. But Ryan was perfectly content sitting in the wagon eating his sucker!

Drew got a popcorn ball in his bucket and I took it out of the package for him and he asked “how do I do it mama?” and then put it on the ground and kicked it. I told him that it was something to eat and not play with!

Ryan fell down and scraped his head as we were leaving the doctor’s office today. (Peter and I got our flu shots)

So, we have all been sick this past weekend. Ryan has pink eye and a sinus infection, Drew had a pretty bad sinus infection, I had a cold, and Peter is still dealing with his cold. The boys and I are feeling better but I kept Drew home from school today just in case. Ryan’s last tooth finally popped through so hopefully his grumpiness is over with. Then we just have the 2 year molars to deal with.

Today was some train convention that Peter always goes to and afterwards they get to tour model train layouts at other people’s houses. Drew is finally old enough to go with Peter and he had so much fun! He even got to climb on a real diesel engine!

He has his 18 month appt on 10/17/08- he weighed 27.2 lbs and was 35 inches tall. So he is in the 50-75% for weight and above 97% for height. He is about to surpass Drew in weight pretty soon. At 3.5 years old Drew weighs 29 lbs.

After the soccer game we walked over to the pumpkin patch that the YMCA had set up.

We went down and fed the ducks at YMCA before Drew’s soccer game on Saturday.

Peter and I took Ryan to Snipits to get his first haircut today! He did better than I thought he would but still had some freak out moments. At least he wasnt like the kid after us who was hysterical before he even got to the chair.

Ryan had fun chasing the ducks but would get mad because they wouldn’t let him touch them.

Drew and this little girl were fighting for position to stand on the blue line during kick offs. She would push him off the line, he would push her…it was quite funny to watch. We told him to stop fighting with her and he said “she stole my spot!”

Drew was mad at us because we told him he needed to pay attention and go get the ball.

Drew got to go to CEC tonight since he went 14 days without using the bathroom in his pull-up overnight. Now, that wasnt consecutive days so its taken him like a month and a half to get to go to CEC. Next is to get him going consecutively. Anyhooo…the boys had fun tonight.

First of all, I just had to say that Ryan sat on the potty yesterday and went tee-tee! He only did it because Taylor did but for the first time ever sitting on the potty I was quite proud!

Im keeping Taylor this week and until further notice while Blake and Elicia are looking for a new sitter. Ryan calls her “laylor” and loves giving her hugs although Taylor is not quite sure what to do with him yet.

Ryans new thing is climbing up on the coffee table and saying “ta-da” so this is all 3 of them doing that.

Ryan’s 15th tooth popped through this weekend. He only has 1 more to come in and then he is done until his 2 year molars.
