Kids are funny…part 3
Posted on March 17th, 2009 @ 3:40 pm

Drew just keeps coming up with the funniest stuff…

~ So I’ve been sick the past week and a half but the past 5 or 6 days have been really bad. Drew asked me the other day if I would come outside and do the chalk paint with him on the back porch and I told him no since I wasnt feeling well. To which he replied “suit yourself!”

~  We went to McD’s for lunch and after we left I went through the drive-thru to get something for Peter. Drew asks if he can have an ice cream cone and I told him no. He starts whining and I told him that it would be nap time when we got home anyhow so he didnt need ice cream plus we had other snacks at home. So Drew says “how about this, I can have some sherbert when we get home.”

Ryan vocabulary seems to have taken off this past week or so. Here are some new, new words:

seet- sheet

gerrge- Curious George

eintein- Little Einsteins

ningle- train signal

boke- broke

chuch- church

puple- purple

duck- stuck

yaaap- he is a true Texan. He says this instead of “yeah?” when answering a question

all done-  when he gets put in time out he sits down and immediately says “all done?”

boogey boo- Drew and I started saying “boogeity, boogeity, boo” to each other so Ryan trys to immitate it

Kids are funny pt. 2
Posted on March 13th, 2009 @ 4:47 pm

~So yesterday my mom called and asked to speak with Drew Kazmir. I said “Drew you have a phone call” and repeated it another time to which he told me me “Mama, you are going to have to take a message”.

~ Today when we got home from picking Drew up from preschool he asked me if he could have the other poptart that he didn’t eat this morning. I asked him if he was ready to go take a nap because he had turned off the TV and he said no. I said told him that he had 10 minutes before he had to go take a nap and he said “thats why I want my poptart now!” So he got his poptart and told me that he was going to watch TV until he finished his poptart. 5 minutes later I told him that he had 5 more minutes until he had to go upstairs and he said “yes mama, I remember”. This kid cracks me up!

New Ryan words:

nungies- nuggies

up and down- he says that when he is climbing on something

sort- shorts

sooos- shoe

sirt- shirt

airpane- airplane

idol- American Idol

lup-a-lup – now it means fruit rollup AND lollipop

the kids are so funny
Posted on March 10th, 2009 @ 8:01 pm

Both of the boys are saying things these days that really crack me up. Drew talks so mature for his age and Ryan is starting to talk more clearly.

1. The other day Drew asked me to help him put his new jigsaw puzzle together and I told him that I wasn’t feeling well and wanted to lay down. He looked up at me and said “well ok mama, suit yourself.”

2. Yesterday Peter picked Drew up from preschool and they checked the mail before they came home. We have the metal group mailboxes that requires keys and Drew always looks in our mailbox to see if we got an extra key for another box with a big package in it. Yesterday there wasnt a key and he told Peter “that mailman is a bummer!”

Ryan- here are his latest words:

Radod- Rondad

bath (with emphasis on the “th”)

saaaaay?- means “what did you say?” – he got that one from Drew.

But-ton- belly button

yeah- yes

oh-kaaaay-

up and down

airpane
