So Peter is in Lexington right now. He has been there since Sunday and wont be back until Friday and the boys are already driving me nuts. i don’t think its physically possible for Ryan to leave Drew alone. I don’t think its possible for Drew not to scream like a little girl when he doesn’t want Ryan messing with him. I don’t know what the appeal is but Ryan has a radar for tubes of toothpaste. If there is one in the house, he is GOING to find it and either slather it all over his face, hands, arms, and legs like he did last week. OR he is going to grind it into the carpet or squeeze it on the kids Diego couch.

And lets talk about the WHINING! (No, not by me although this post is whining but Im allowed to! ) Im sick of the whining. Ryan is the worst but Drew has been doing it too. OH and the backtalking…. I nearly came unglued today when I asked Drew to let Ryan out of his room and Drew answered back “No, why don’t you do it!” Its a really good thing he was on the stairs. Nothing further needs to be said. And when I ask Ryan to do something he tells me “NO- I wont.” or “Its not fair!”
But…at the end of the day when the boys wrap their arms around me and say “I love you mama” it all seems to go away. But Im sooo ready for PEter to come home on Friday. I think things will be better when preschool starts and the kids have more interesting stuff to do away from home. Not to mention, 4 blessed hours away from MEEEEEE!

Usually when it gets too quiet in our house it means that Ryan is getting into something he is not supposed to be in. Well, it was eerily quite a few days ago and I go into the play room and discovered this:

He NEVER falls asleep like this. NEVER. But it was too darn cute! And yes he was snoring pretty loudly too. Takes after Peter.

Last week we went for a tour of Kids Dental Smiles in Cedar Park with our MOMS club. This office was really cool and their favorite part was the video game room!

This time Ryan got into the handsoap from the bathroom and slathered it all over his hair.

This is pretty typical of what goes on around our house. Ryan gets into stuff he is not supposed to. He looks super cute doing it. Mom takes a picture. THEN he gets in trouble.

This time he climbed ON TOP of my desk and got the container of cupcake toppings off the very top of the credenza and spilled them on the floor. Then went upstairs where we were getting dressed with a hand full of sprinkles and his messy face.

Drew gets on the floor and starts eating sprinkles OFF THE FLOOR. Which of course Ryan has to do. And I am debating on whether or not to get on to them for it or take the photo op. Guess what I chose?

I’ve been wanting to do a detailed album of Drew’s NICU stay- we didn’t have a blog back then and all of the emails that Peter sent out with updates are just sitting in outlook begging for something to be done. But I didn’t know how I would tackle 109 days in the NICU- thats ALOT of scrapbook pages. He changed so much from day to day and I wanted that documented. Well, I found some quick clicks at DSP by Meryl Bartho that are PERFECT. So here begins the NICU album. Im doing 1 week per page and then will do some special pages highlighting the huge milestones!
