Space Shuttle Discovery in Fort Worth
Posted on September 20th, 2009 @ 10:00 pm

Found out that the shuttle Discovery, being ferried back to Florida from the recent landing in New Mexico, was making a stop in Fort Worth for a couple of hours. How lucky, since we were visiting the grandparents for the weekend! Drew and I grabbed Rondad’s binoculars and Momma’s camera and headed over to the AFB to take some pictures. Here is one of Drew looking at the shuttle on the 747 through the binoculars, and one I took just seconds after takeoff (the landing gear are almost up). Cool!

Yesterday was the first day of preschool for the boys. Drew is in the 4 year old class (this is his 3rd year in preschool) and Ryan is going for the very first time! He is in the 2 year old class! Here are some pictures from yesterday:

And today was the first day of music class which I am teaching. Drew did very well but Ryan was more of a challenge- he wanted to be by me the whole time.

And this is what Ryan did during music- sat in a chair by me (but he is awfully cute):

So this week was my first week of working since Drew and Colin were born. Im working at the preschool where the boys are going- Westside Christian Preschool and I just loved my first week! Its great going to a job where you dont even feel like you are working! This week was work week and the kids will be in class next Wednesday! Im glad to be amongst adults again and not just my own kids.
