More pictures of us playing in the snow! Peter came out with us and played too!

We woke up this morning to snow! Its hard to believe that on Sunday it was in the 70’s and now we have snow! The kids were so excited to go out and play! Here are a few pictures from this morning!

Drew’s preschool class is the frog class and they have a “pet” frog named Fireball. Each week one of the kids is the frog of the week and they get to take fireball home and care for him. So Fireball got to attend Drew’s birthday party yesterday. He also went to church with us this morning and to the Salt Lick! What a lucky frog!

We celebrated Drew’s birthday yesterday and had a party at our house. We had a great time- we had 10 boys and 2 girls over here so needless to say it was crazy! But I loved every minute of it and Drew had a blast! We had pizza and a scooby doo birthday cake and the birthday present bandit stole Drew’s presents and hid them. So the kids had to follow clues and play a few games in order to find the presents.

5 years ago today my beautiful boys entered this world. Its a very bittersweet day for me since Colin is not here to celebrate with Drew on their special day. But I told myself from the very beginning that there will be no sadness on their birthday- its a day to celebrate both of their lives. In the 3 days that Colin was here with us he blessed our lives beyond belief and I am so grateful that I did have that time with him. And what can I say about Drew? He has filled our lives with love, joy, laughter, craziness and I thank God every day for him. I look at Drew and know what an absolute miracle he is and there is not a day that goes by that I am not thankful to God for allowing Drew to remain with us and be as healthy and perfect as he is.

Today in church we sat behind the pew that we sat in for Colin’s funeral and it was hard not to let my mind remember that day. My mom and dad were here for the weekend and he told my mom he was thinking the same thing. Its just hard to believe that its been 5 years since they blessed our lives.
